Having physique-related goals are great goals to have. Exercise and fitness work well in achieving them.

However, exercise and fitness don’t necessarily equate with training.

  • Exercise/fitness –> unstructured and performed with the intent of burning calories, sweating, or improving health.
  • Training –> performed in a structured and specific manner in pursuit of a long-term goal.

Exercise has many health benefits and is certainly better than doing nothing. However, it’s often done for physique-related goals, without regard to movement, sacrificing our bodies in the process.

What if you started TRAINING with the intent of improving how your body moves IN CONJUNCTION with your physique-related goals?

Your body will definitely thank you 10, 20, 30+ years down the road for prioritizing movement and training in accordance.

What do you want to do in the future?

Does your current training align with those goals? Or are you beating your body up in the gym just to lose 10 or 15 pounds in the short-term?
